This election is about Freedom and preserving the American way of life! This is about a future full of happiness, positive progress, peace, hard work, family, service, a love of country, and gratitude to God for all that he has given us!
3 1/2 years ago, April 15, 2009 I stood in front of a federal Judge and renounced my country! I never expected the powerful mixed feeling of saying goodbye to my claim of being a Canadian citizen while at the same time putting on the mantle of responsibility that is required by an American citizen. It wasn’t something I was born too, it was something that I chose, willingly!
It so moved me that I was visibly shaking with tears. And I wasn’t the only one.
I am beyond grateful to be able to show my children what it means to me to be American. To be voting for a President for my first time was an incredible experience. I believe even more so given the fundamental choices placed before us this day! Timing couldn’t have been more perfect for me.
As a nation we have no idea what our potential could be! We are the shining light on the hill, for all the world to see! Sure we have our Achilles heal that we have to solve, but as her citizens we protect that from others who attack us. We see our wrongs and we solve it. That’s the beauty of self-governance. We have come so far we cannot stop now and turn to the rest of the world’s ways. Their ways are not our ways. And we can see how their ways could end us.
This is God’s country, the only free country on this earth that has prospered beyond measure, that has had the longest sustained peace on its land, and is the most generous of all nations. Thanks be to Heaven, that we are different and that we have a better way! God bless the American Citizen, God bless our soldiers who keep constant vigil. God bless those willing to step into the ugly world of politics, defending the right. God bless the United State of America!
